Protect your legacy IP Addresses from ARIN’s LRSA program.

In 2010, Avenue4’s Marc Lindsey cautioned legacy holders against entering into ARIN’s LRSA (legacy registration services agreement) program. ARIN’s LRSA has since been revised, but fundamental concerns remain.

Signing the LRSA is a disadvantage unless you are a successor in interest to an original legacy block registrant and need ARIN to update its registry to identify you as the rightful holder of the block. And even then, proceed with caution. Read More
